Someone explain to me what the "99%" represents, 99% of what? And why protest wall street when it is the legislation and regulations implemented and enforced by Washington polititicians that are the problem?

How do you know how much the millionaires pay in taxes? DId you obtain their 1040's to see their income and charitable donations. Same question for corporations.

The 99% are the tail end of the wealth gap. That's all it represents.

There is a bit of a split between those who think the money makers vs. the law makers are to blame, at least on this forum. To give you a bit of the counter-argument, if you throw enough money at a competent human being, you can usually corrupt them; then you have them make sure you can make more money to give to them through laws.

It's really a circular debate that I think takes up way too much of our time here. Whoever wants to protest Washington has my sincere blessing, just as much as those protesting Wall Street. Really. Let's not waste time arguing whether it's the chicken or the egg that deserves more blame.
