The message of Occupy Wall Street is real and strong. Consequences of protest for a message that is actually real and influential include arrests, among many other things, but the main goal of these consequences is to silence our protests, and to deter us from our own goal. Fellow occupiers, I urge you not to be silenced, and just as important, not to complain about arrests, be proud, because it means they're scared of us getting closer. If your arrested not because of violence, but because of civil protest, wear that badge with honor, because you have done something right and YOU are making a change.
