19 Signs That America Has Become A Crazy Control Freak Nation Where Almost Everything Is Illegal

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/1830/720/NL/

Our lives are governed by millions of laws, rules and regulations and more are being piled on all the time. In fact, 40,000 new laws just went into effect in January.

Every single new law restricts your freedom just a little bit more. The truth is that America has become a crazy control freak nation where virtually everything that we do is highly regulated. You have probably broken multiple laws today that you don’t even know exist.

We have all become criminals and lawbreakers because almost everything is illegal at this point.

Our politicians are convinced that they are “making life better” by piling gigantic mountains of laws onto our backs, and law enforcement authorities are convinced that they are helping society by “cracking down on crime”, but the reality is that our liberties and our freedoms are being strangled by all of this government oppression. This is not the way that America is supposed to work.

Thats how Stalin did it. Made everything illegal but available.

How many laws are United States citizens subject to? I wonder which state's citizens are subject to the most and least state laws.

Isn't it amazing how quickly they agree on and pass laws that hurt people and take away their rights, but how slow they are to agree on anything that will help people? They stand there pointing at the other party, with eyes glazed over, saying how they are somehow being stopped. Can't help but wonder about the ulterior motives. They're supposed to be our best and brightest, yet they screw up time after time after time. They can't be that dumb....it must be intentional.

They never help people. Helping us would be getting rid of these criminal and ridiculous laws.

Creating and passing new laws actually can expand our freedoms. For example- passing a law against killing people gives us the freedom that we won't be killed by somebody else! It's not so black and white

If only the killers would also obey the laws. Laws never give freedom. They either encourage or discourage our actions.

If laws never give freedoms, then passing new laws never takes away freedoms according to that logic

Minority Report is already happening.

This is another part of the "fundamental transformation of America" Barack Obama conveniently failed to mention during the 2008 campaign. Just more power in the hands of Progressives who obviously have only our "best interests" in mind (or at least the ones they think we deserve).

"Freedom is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their "betters."" - Dr. Thomas Sowell, "The People v. the "Anointed""
