More and more people are for social freedom, and more and more people are distrustful of the state.

2014 is going to be interesting. I'm guessing that this upcoming year is going to see another Occupy type uprising due to something, its been too quite since the 08 collapse and the economy is due for another recession is previous trends are any indication.

2013, The Year In Review, Video - http://www.nationofchange.org/2013-resistance-report-year-review-1388508474 Interesting link and an extremely seriously sadly apt image! Never Give Up! Occupy 2014!

Great comment to a great billboard. I suppose 2008 to 2013 can also be summed with two shoes.

In regards to the article, I was under the impression that about 98% of the population here were immigrants?

Nah, you read it wrong. Looks like about 12.5%, give or take; total US population about 317 million, immigrants about 40.5 million.

You can say that of most of the world outside of the Garden of Eden.

And this statement of fact has been downvoted why? Seems EVERYONE in the world is an immigrant from the cradle of civilization, no?
