We do not need to convince, convert, or reform the one percenters about anything. This is a democracy. Authority is given / earned through the strength of vote.
edit: just to clarify-
I say we don't need their votes , because we will have enough of our own tp overturn the system in the peoples favor ... once we start signing petitions and participating in proaction.
They don't "vote" anyway. That's so plebeian.
Like taxes, that's just there for the "little people".
They just buy the politicians and legislation they want, like a kid in a candy store with a pocket full of quarters.
Why vote when you can just write a check instead? There's no waiting in line.
That's a good point. Why vote when you can buy legislation.

But you are assuming you can get the majority of voters to do this? They are too busy watching Real Housewives of Bad Plastic Surgery.
It's actually a republic and the strength is in its founding principles and laws, as enumerated by the constitution
China is a republic.. Russia was a republic . whay exactly is a republic , and what's so special about it ?
