I understand the tea potty reps who want to impress their constituents about how strong they are, but how can ANY sane woman vote for them?

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

There must be some diagnosable syndrome they suffer. I mean they truly believe vawa is not good. In the end it is simply that they hate native Americans/gay people more than they love their gender.

They believe THEY don't need protection, and mostly it is minorities or cheap white trash women who benefit (not true of course).

They then put the vawa in the entitlement/taker category and tell themselves they will keep more of their money if it is defeated, and "no one needs special protection, we already have laws against abuse"

I suppose. Really I have no idea. They're just a bunch of selfish, heartless, fucks. LOL

Think of the dozens of the Spanish lemmings who lit the torches to burn the Jews in 1492- because they were told to do it

[-] 2 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

I know. people are easily misled. nowadays they are misled to believe the deficit s/b the priority, when of course job creation is!

some women can see that there is more to a policy that lip service to them. Sound economic policies, fiscal responsibilities, individual freedom and responsibility. You know, that stuff.

WTF is wrong with those people (?) - don't they have a mom or a sister or a daughter?

[-] 2 points by bensdad (8977) 11 years ago

their primary concern is their owner,
It is somewhat similar to the catholic bishops who protect child abusers
the catholic owner - the church itself is the ONLY thing that matters,

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yep when you see republican women voting against women's protection legislation - you must realize they are either bought ( a sellout ) or are experiencing an identification with their abusers.

[-] -2 points by blacksad (-58) 11 years ago

Or just thinking for themselves and coming to a different conclusion than you.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Not sure - as your comment is kind of ambiguous - but did you just say that it is ok for them to vote against the interest of their genders safety/rights/protections ?

[-] -2 points by blacksad (-58) 11 years ago

Sure. I don't do everything based on what's best for white guys. I have my own thoughts and beliefs.

i think that you and I see women differently.

I see them as I individuals with their own pasts, thoughts, feelings, etc.. And I respect that.

You see them as a demographic that should think and act the same way. Like,a herd.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Not sure - but you sound like an idiot - time will tell - as you make more comments.

[-] -2 points by blacksad (-58) 11 years ago

Hmmm. I always heard OWS was some kind of intellectual and ideological revolution. Is this really the benchmark of discourse that goes on here? Sounds more like a Teabagger meeting.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yep - another down check for you. Stunted intellectually or possibly bigoted ( looking at some of your other remarks ) or both.

[-] -1 points by blacksad (-58) 11 years ago

Down check?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Demerit on your social/interaction skills as well as your apparent character.

[-] -1 points by blacksad (-58) 11 years ago

Oh yeah. Lech Walesa did the same thing back in the 80's. Helped bring the Iron Curtain down.

Lame.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Lame.

Yes - that is currently how you present yourself.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Or not.

[-] -2 points by blacksad (-58) 11 years ago

Don't you hate it when a silly dame don't act like she's supposed to? Buncha dizzy broads.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Yeah, they should just sit down, shut up and take it.

In your book, I'm sure they deserve it.

Quite frankly, anyone who voted this down should lose there their job.

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

We must identify, denounce, & retire every pol who opposed protecting women from neanderthal wife beaters.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Including 10 women suffering from Stockholm syndrome or badly in need of re-election funds.

There's that olde tyme teabagge(R), Bachmann.

So, somebody remind me, what's to like about these people?

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

I'm not a fan of the genre and I doubt she's gonna sing much that will change attitudes among those who are.

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

I agree with you, but it's not really her. In fact it is a parody of her.

Just entertainment. No biggie

Meanwhile both parties KILL poor people overseas.

Eh, better just ignore that.

Legislation is much more worrisome than DEATHS. For you maybe. But thats all that matters, right....You? As long as you are fine, dont worry about the bombs.

Turn a blind eye. Pretend its not there, focus on other things. Ignore Bush III.

America needs to wake the fuck up.

[-] 0 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

We'll have to be against war and pressure all pols to end the phony 'war on terror' while simultaneously fighting to protect women from being beaten like dogs. *& many other issues)

Waddaythink? (heh heh)

Can we chew gum and walk at the same time?

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Ya, I have had about enough of that moronic crap.

I saw there was an update on stalking laws. Good to see. However, the system doesn't work.

[-] -2 points by TheBlackSun (-32) 11 years ago

Still blaming the republicans? Great! That will boost the DNC! I mean OWS!

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

[-] 0 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

Only repubs in the House and Senate voted against protecting women from being beaten like dogs. Do you blame Dems for that?
