FALSE PRETEXT & CRIMINAL THEFT

From CNN: On Friday, up to 40 firefighters removed the group's propane tanks and six generators, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said. That left the demonstrators to battle the cold weather seeping through their tents, blankets and sleeping bags.

FALSE PRETEXT: "These are fire hazards (and) against the law," Bloomberg said during his weekly WOR-AM radio show Friday. "Our first concern is safety." Demonstrators described the removal as an attempt to restrict Internet use and make their lives more difficult as a cold front moves into the region.

Billionaire Bloomberg's first concern is to squelch and trod on the 99%. Governments have always used the pretext of "Public Safety" to subjugate the people. Government claims to know what is best for you. Don't you think you know better what is good for you?

Please Call Billionaire Mayor Bloomberg that you disagree with his false pretext to crush the 99%.

Read the Rules

Per usual, make an exception to an established rule because I'm special.

A man said to the universe: "Sir I exists!"  "However," relied the universe, "The fact has not created in me a sense of obligation."

Stephen Crane voiced his OWS opinion, anachronistically,  in 1899.

In Australia it was quoted as petrol (gasoline) cans.

Surely the way around this is to find a qualified person to certify each propane tank/pipe/burner as safe?

Any retired/unemployed Fire Officers or gas fitters around?

People use propane grills in their back yards all the time in America. In fact it's a 4th of July ritual to have a cookout. If they are safe in our back yards, they are safe on Zucotti Park! We shouldn't need a special certification!

What you should or shouldn't need and what you do need to prove that their excuses are bogus are not the same thing.

Problem is Billionaire Bloomberg has more money than all the OWS people in Zucotti park combined. It would take years to fight him in court, and he knows it.

Some sources are saying the in NYC you need to have a permit to have a generator. Seems the permits (from the fire service) are required for "fire safety" and therefor running a generator without a permit is thus defined as a "fire hazard"...

Ah, you're right. It's the permit that makes some thing fire proof as opposed to a fire hazard of course.

There's a permit for kitchen knives and cleavers too.
