Something to look into, think about and take seriously. What does the above mean to you?

"In a society, the praxis of cultural hegemony is neither monolithic nor a unified value system, rather it is a complex of layered social structures; each social and economic class has a societal purpose and an internal class logic allowing its members to behave in a particular way that is different from the behavior of members of other social classes, whilst co-existing with them as constituents of the society. Because of their different social purposes, the classes will be able to coalesce into a society with a greater social mission. In a person perceiving the social structures of cultural hegemony, personal common sense has a dual structural role (personal and public). Personally, men and women apply common sense to cope with daily life, and to explain (to themselves) the small segment of the social order they experience as life. Publicly, the perceptual limitations of common sense emerge and inhibit individual perception of the greater nature of the systematic socio-economic exploitation made possible by cultural hegemony. Because of the discrepancy in perceiving the status quo (bourgeois hierarchy), most people attend to their immediate (personal) concerns, rather than (publicly) think about and question the fundamental sources of their social and economic oppression." source en.wikipedia.org

here's a little help for those that haven't heard of hegemony.

"Cultural hegemony is the philosophic and sociological theory, by the Marxist philosopher Antonio Gramsci, that a culturally diverse society can be dominated (ruled) by one social class, by manipulating the societal culture (beliefs, explanations, perceptions, values) so that its ruling-class worldview is imposed as the societal norm, which then is perceived as a universally valid ideology and status quo beneficial to all of society, whilst benefiting only the ruling class."

I live in a building where my neighbors are treated like dogs. They live in fear of loosing where they have lived 20 plus years. A beautiful lady died days ago with bed bugs eating her alive.(What a way to remember your bed room) Having heat is a blessing from God almighty. My building is collapsing and any minute we may all die.

Every building around us looks beautiful, we stand out like black on white, Thinking that's what the world think of our life!

Im the only one willing to fight! I have made every enity in NY aware of our circumstances for 5 years non stop. and I will continue to.

My neighbors repair there own apartments of fear of annoying the landlord and him casting them to the street. He disappears for months and appears for the rent because they don't know where he lives. A family i seen grow up here was kicked out by him a few months ago. He looks me in the eyes and says god bless your children, you shouldn't live in the cold i go to church i understand" but then hides the heat controls in a mexicans apartment telling them " Don't tell anyone or else" putting a decoy system in the hallway. 311, HPD, city officials how long will you force your own people to live worst then Animals owned by the famous! We have lived here for 20+ years but never owned a lease!
