See here for information on a solidarity action taking place today in Oakland.
Mumia is a murder, plain and simple. He was convicted and the verdict upheld by multiple appellate courts. The Defense mostly called character witnesses. This is not something OWS should be promoting as a news item nor something we should be supporting.
I would be for a new trial with the DNA breakthroughs we have now. But based on the evidence it seems pretty clear that Mumia shot the man. So what would be the point?

Yep the JD truly needs to be kicked squarely in the posterior.
this is how you announce an action online....with video. posters are awesome, event websites are awesome. but nothing beats a person explaining where when why and how it will take place, this is what gets people to actions who may not be as 'in the loop' as some activists are. beautiful job and wonderful turn out in DC. REVOLUJAH BABY!!! see u tomorrow for 1T day.
