Posted 12 years ago on March 28, 2012, 6:10 a.m. EST by OccupyWallSt
When: Sunday, April 1. Gather at 2pm, march at 2:30.
Where: Gather at Liberty Plaza OR 1 Hanson Place, Brooklyn, marches converge at Cadman Plaza
March on April 1, 2012 to commemorate the six month anniversary of the historic Brooklyn Bridge march where over 700 OWS protesters were illegally arrested. Meet at Cadman Plaza by 4:00 P.M. for a city-wide General Assembly. All metropolitan area General Assemblies are invited to participate.
I know you like your six-month anniversaries and all, but in this case, you may want to pick a different day.
Will the Police break the law again.
The bridge will become symbolic either way.

Where does the march end? In the middle? Either side? Trying to figure out which side to park on!
The rally will be in Cadman Plaza in Downtown Brooklyn so I suggest that you park on the Brooklyn side so you don't have to schlep across the bridge after the rally. However, if you could use mass transit that would be the easier ride. Peace!
I missed the first one due to car trouble. I won't miss this one. I've passed under the Brooklyn Bridge hundreds of times in my career as a merchant marine. This will be the first time that I will walk over the bridge though. Solidarity :) :)
