By now you could have earned $180,000 or contributed 24,000 hours to a volunteer cause, had you just worked a 40 hour week like the rest of us '99%' who continued to earn our keep. What did you do? Create a larger footprint (trash) and accept donations from across the country.

If JUST the original 150 people from Occupy Wall Street would have spent the last four weeks working an eight hour day, five days a week, earning $7.50 an hour, they would have made $180,000 and contributed 24,000 hours of work combined. Instead they spent this time perpetuating an attitude of "tax the rich, feed the poor" (quote of local Occupy Bloomington protestor) to a global audience... if the 'movement' accomplishes it's goal and the wealth begins to be transferred, I ask you, in the end should one receive a handout for sitting in a park day in and day out or should one have to work to earn their cash?
