My brief moment with NYCGA was inspiring. I am working with colleagues and my students on organizing a voter registration campaign in northern Wisconsin to confront the voter suppression efforts of Gov. Walker. We are in the midst of a bitter recall election and we need to make sure every city and township election official has correct info on ID cards for registration; and try to get people registered in advance of election day so they don't get bumped.
