Random Thoughts Concerning Rebellion and Other Notions

The reason that Occupy Wall Street has no designated leaders and suggests very little content is because that is a model for government “the protesters” seek, which has been written about and sometimes practiced since ancient China. The OWS protest’s intent is to change the conversation that “we’re so great in America” because we basically suck as a country, not in the way you think we are saying, but in our way we are saying. We are not anti-American or asking for handouts or seeking to do harm.

When there are no designated leaders, there is less to prove, less wars to fight. In this case, today, politics has the freedom to morph into “a spirit” and there is a time limit for many sage-types, that is, Winter Solstice 2012. What these OWS protesters are saying is that they see the dawn of the end of an age and would just like everybody to shut up for about ten minutes so the air waves can die down from all of the ever-growing digital screaming. Humanity feared Y2K, so we never got to fully celebrate the new year 2000 and we’d like to make up for lost time.

Here is the end in mind: to observe conversations recorded on Facebook and YouTube to appreciate that for every opinion there is at least one person holding the exact opposite opinion. The current methodology is to despise the party of opposition. The new methodology will be to voice your opinion as your opinion, with zero intent to change anybody’s mind. Now we can hear each other, finally. This is the admonition of “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If one of you is hungry we trust that somebody will feed you. Or me. But best of all, “I will feed myself,” or find a way or starve trying.

And guess what? I don’t care what anybody else thinks because I love you all so damn much, as I love myself. We also regret what the white people did when they arrived in North America since Columbus and Cortez, how we stole land from the native inhabitants, including Hawaii, and bought people as slaves. Wall Street somehow feels to us like it is doing a similar thing today, which is what people have been doing to each other and we are absolutely bored when history repeats itself. The OWS crowd is glad it is being heard, but it’s just that, a voice. If you don’t like it, use your own damn voice and we’ll hear you too! And then the whole thing is gonna pop.

The OWS mindset is not intending to change Wall Street and really does not care about Wall Street, but prefers to spend time outside, celebrating together, getting to know one another, discussing everything, seeing the stars, and feeling the breezes. This is exactly what our forefathers did and nobody is wrong for wanting to do a similar thing during this important and vital time in which we live.
