I voted for Barack Obama for President and I am not disappointed in him, the President and the man. I feel he has been under attack. All this activism is great but some of this can go toward helping elect Democrats to the House and Senate. We lost the congress to the Republicans. They dominated just enough to block practically everything Obama has tried to do. Our President has made it very clear he is Pro-Labor. He is trying to increase taxes on the very rich corporations and individuals he has already helped small business. He wants to see our infrastructure flourish. There is no way anything good can come out of failing to support Barack Obama in a second term. Embrace the Democratic Party embrace activism. Get out the Vote. Rock the Vote make positive change. If we do not do these things we will end up with a right winger. For many years I voted independent, but I had enough of the Bush Years. Do we want more of that? Well if you do not want more of that then do vote for Barack Obama. There is no other Democratic candidate strong enough to win. Let us support our President. I'm a 67 year old mother and grandmother. I demonstrated against the Vietnam War and against the onset of the Iraq War. I have been following all these issues and I do know what I am talking about.
