I am a 59 year old grandmother, college educated, who believes in fairness AND accountability- I never thought I would see our country in such dire condition- It should not be up to the middle class to foot all the bills in this country. The top wealthy should of course pay taxes, and at a higher rate than the lower paid Americans! That is fair. Education should be top priority for funding, not be cut. And Social Security has kept many older and disabled Americans from being homeless and able to buy groceries. That program should not be cut. Let's move forward and not backwards!
