I am keen to see proper regulation of the international financial industry.
Implemented at the national level with aggregation of reporting and oversight to an independent world body.
Two important initiatives are resurrecting the Glass-Stiegal act and introducing a Financial Transactions Tax ( FTT )
The FTT would shine a light on trades / activities which the financial industry wants to remain dark.
Anything less that an international FTT will not prevent the next meltdown.
