I am a history and government teacher and recognize the long struggle to gain some relative equality for the working class and poor. With two grandchildren, I am extremely concerned about the decline of the middle-class and think it's time for us common folk to take control of our country and institute some basic fairness into our economic and political systems. I am strongly in favor of major campaign finance reform and restoration of collective bargaining rights which have been systematically stripped away.
