Yes! I am an RN and the system is broke and has been for years, it's time to do something about it.
Everything from medicare, medicaid to the private sector is corrupt, we only raised prices to get the max from medicare and medicaid. Remember $50-$60 office visits? Those Drs. didn't get the max reimbursement from medicare and medicaid so they raised their rates, costing everyone more.
This was caused by the federal government. Every time my mom gets an increase in social security, her medicare premium goes up the same or more! Low income friends I know try to go to school but the DHS sees loans and grants as income so students lose their support, hence keeping the poor, poor!
