I am a 40 yr old woman that became disabled due to work. My husband was a union carpenter that got laid off in 2008. We used to make over $100,000/yr and now we are fighting to pay our mortgage & put food on the table! He is working for minimum wage now, and like I said, we are trying to survive. I feel the powers that be, in this country, this world even, are broken, busted, and can't be trusted! I will do anything to ensure that the few rights we have left, are not taken away from us!!! I believe that people have been so beat down by what these corporations have done to our way of life, that they have become apathetic. I will stand w/this OCCUPY movement until we achieve democracy again! I believe in the U.S. Constitution, and the principles that our founding fathers based our country upon. It is disheartening that many of my friends & family won't stand up or even look into this movement :'( Even so...I will stand in solidarity for them in Chicago Sat Oct 15th =))
