I'm a graduate of Biology from Virginia Tech University(2007). I worked in the biotech field as a research associate for 3 years. In 2010 I was let go because of budge cuts. I am currently working on getting my masters degree in global health. I have massive amounts of Student debt. I also have some credit card debt. I currently work in Starbucks and I'm struggling to pay my rent in Washington DC. I believe the American dream of working hard and becoming successful is fading away for my generation. Big business and our government don't seem to mind either. We need fundamental change. We need the 21st century version of the "New Deal"
