PatriciaHanniganI'm a suburbanite living in the leafy green shadows of New York City, where many of the 1% reside in a beautiful bastion of denial. Clearly, we need to do something about our broken system where the vast majority are seeing their basic standards of living decrease dramatically... while a few are becoming increasingly, exorbitantly rich and dangerously powerful. However without a basic "goal" and "list of demands" I can't imagine how anything can be accomplished. My hope is that an articulate spokesperson will come along who can move things in this direction... there's so much goodwill among the protesters and we're all on the same basic page. It's just that with the winter coming on I feel the momentum will fade and the movement will die if there isn't a basic plan put into place.
