I'm an old student of complex systems. And as the economy is one hell of a complex system, it has held my attention for more than 20 years. I'm also a student of Marshall Mcluhan and as such have had a profound interest in how information, and experience as been stored and moved across history. Politically I am a Libertarian Socialist in the Noam Chomsky mold; a died in the wool progressive who sees fundamental social change as the only way things are ever going to get any better.
