I am a Professor and Librarian interested in real Progressive change in this country.

Here are some of my ideas:

Raise the minimum wage.

Change the statute requiring corporations to put profit ahead of all other competing interests to putting people's economic security ahead of profit. So it would state, a corporation is required to put people's well-being and then profit ahead of all other competing interests.

Break apart large corporations into smaller businesses in order to stop price fixing and collusion amongst big business. In essence, level the playing field for small business.

End the ability of a business to own another business, thus drastically reducing the size of corporations.
