The late noted Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis (1856-1941) said: "We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." It's somewhat ironic that today the high court is being challenged for recent decisions such as the 2000 election, corporations giving freely to political candidates, etc.
