The way to keep the books from being destroyed is by having a human shelve. Each person should carry a book or two as if reading reading them.. And wear a ribbon with the titles. If someone wants to read a book can get it through word of mouth. Some could be doing that by documenting who has what. Another group could be protesting silently by carrying the banners and signs. The ones carrying the books should seat silently reading. Keep the place clean and do not let a complain be true.
