Fini4ZeitgeistMy name is Joshua Hajiakbarifini, or just Fini lol. I am a first generation American child in the deep South to an Iranian atheist father and a Mexican Christian mother. I have been raised with very simple elementary morals from the Bible and yet saw the hypocrisy of my Christian school supporting War against Iraq, this was unacceptable. My philosophical journey led me to Ron Paul for a while, but I couldn't ignore that I disagreed with him on primary economic issues. In 2008 i was exposed to a revolutionary documentary series called Zeitgeist. This film profoundly established my and strengthened my understanding of the world. By the time i reach college, I took a class in political theory and we ran into Marx. It was then I realised that my perspective with zeitgeist actually complimented the beliefs of Marx. Anyway...without going too far. For many years I truly felt nothing for this country because of how much everyone hated me and what I was, Iranian. I felt a little hope with Ron Paul but the Tea Party ruined anything I thought was possible. It wasn't until something I heard floating around a little bit on the Web in September around the tenth anniversary of 9/11, something called Occupy Wall Street. I have been part of the zeitgeist movement already, but Occupy has given me hope and focus but not for long overdue reforms, but for the inevitable revolution...
