I'm a former (disabled) Marine and mother of three children, a son who graduated from Eastern Michigan University last year as a journalist, a son who graduates from Michigan State University as an applied engineer next year and a daughter who also graduates from MSU next year to then go to law school. I'm a graduate of the University of Michigan. I have never been politically active, but think the time for that has now arrived.
