I work on the bottom rung of a very large multi-national but US-based corporation. They posted record profits and double-digit growth last fiscal quarter over the same fiscal quarter last year... My little store routinely brings in monthly revenue greater than double what it costs to operate my store... Yet my and my coworker's hours are cut to the minimum and I'm constantly pressured to sell! Sell!! SELL!!! Do more with less, and take on more and more responsibilities for no added compensation - I bust my ass but do not earn enough to put a roof over my disabled wife's head?! THIS IS NOT THE AMERICA I TAUGHT TO LOVE AS A CHILD!!!!
