I've been thinking about all this for months now, I can't see any remedy within the current system. The wealthy have all the cards....

Maybe what could work: Occupy Banking/Currency. Have occupy members create a new currency and bank for trade between members, screw the taxes that are being used to essentially keep the people poor and the rich rich, just by-pass it all together by reseting the playing field?

I imagine you could get a sick amount of support with this sort of initiative and hit the wealthy where it really hurts. Honest pay for honest work. 0% handouts, 0% bailouts... just a thought.
