Did anyone else notice that the view counts are extremely low for the Citibank arrest video? Two of them have the same view count (306) while a third is stuck at 304. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdeuuzXS_sY - 7 hours and 277 votes yet only 306 views - didn't change after I viewed it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDZ9viWB56w 5 hours and 143 votes yet only 306 views - same, no change after I viewed it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfvS2Mj0Hqk - 5 hours and 304 views, no change after viewed.

Part of the media blackout? The late news had a 30 second spot on the incident, no video, only saying a couple of people were arrested for trespassing.

It seems to me most of the Occupy youtube videos view counts are extremely low. the vote and comment counts on this one are going up but the view count is still at 306: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdeuuzXS_sY. I agree, the viewer count is no where near reality, but they should be broken the same way - not most of them overly inflated while the Occupy videos are being under counted

Your post seems to imply that the viewer counter has at one point in time worked on YouTube.
