I have been following the Occupy Wall Street movement in the news and online. So far, I've found that I strongly empathize with the general atmosphere and sentiments of the protesters. At the same time, I am not sure that I fully grasp the all of the objectives either. I'm eager to hear what others have to say.

Imagine, if you will, that President Obama came to you today saying that he's ready to make a change. What steps should he take to lead America to a new era? What are your demands for action?

Obama needs to invest in a culture of self employment. He could start by funding and publicizing the Self Employment Assistance Programs (SEAP) that are a part of the unemployment code right now.

But you've never heard of SEAPs, right? Exactly! They are not publicized!!! Only 7 states have opted into them!

What SEAPs do is give people unemployment checks only if they enter into a state sponsored training program which teaches you how to start your own business. You have to maintain a minimum performance record to stay gettin your unemployment checks.

I believe this would be much more effective than simply requiring you to "look for a job" to continue getting unemployment checks. I say "look for a job" cuz nobody checks that shit. You can just write down fake names and keep getting your unemployment checks.

I'm gonna write all about it on my blog. Culture of Self Employment is the escape pod from the economic chains of the banks.
