Forum Post: You need a leader and you need one message

OWS needs a leader and one message. Campaign finance reform is the first step to make politicians accountable to individual voters and not to big banks or rich people. There will be a lot of other good changes that will flow from that one change. If you look at Prohibition and the Women's Suffrage Movement, they had one idea and they stayed focused on that. Then, after you achieve that one goal, the movement has to decide if it wants to be "bigger". It it does, then you are stronger at that point and able to take on other goals.
