Forum Post: You guys are amazing. Suggestion: Inform people the most efficient way to make a statement is nonviolence

I think that along with maintaining sanitation in Wall Street, OWS should also make it a point to maintain an environment of nonviolence. I am sure that there is currently a post on this forum about that, but I just thought it should be reiterated as much as possible. It seems to be historically the most effective way to convey the message of a protest, and it may be possible to convince those who don't understand or disagree with the protesters to sympathize. It's also important not to incite the cops, it would be horrible if violence escalated. The people of the protests are immensely brave for adopting this cause and escalating it to this point. I commend all of you for your bravery! Let's bring some sanity back to America.
