You fail.

You just clicked this thread and that is why you fail.

Guys seriously - stop bumping the troll threads! It's crazy that anybody here was actually responding to that "shit was so cash" variant and that one thread about "where all da hot hippie chicks at?" I can understand that not everyone who espouses Rushtastic views are trolls, but nobody needs to waste their time on "I thought I saw a hot hippie chick - but she turned out to be a Fox News commentator."

It's derailing, distracting, annoying and counter-productive.

Alternatively, we need a report button or something for troll threads that insult protesters while not making actual arguments.

No, that guy who said "Top 1% pay most of the taxes!" does not count as a troll thread, it counts as a half-truth thread, (rates and wages) which should be responded to.

A rate up or down option. A search option as well. This is the good thing about open forums. People can say anything. We can rate ideas.

Looked like there might be some funny stuff here. I need a laugh. But there are some worthwhile comments here. What exactly is a "troll" in this context?

When was the last time you paid $13,000 a month in Federal taxes?

I live on less than that a year

I wish I made enough money to pay taxes like that. I would trade my wages for that in a heart beat.

Well start a business. Think of something you like and pursue it. No it's not easy but it's better than working for someone who's paying you chump change. Save your money, you'll see how fast it grows. Don't use debit or charge cards. If you can pay for it in cash you can't afford it, yet. Pool your resources with your friends. Make something, service something. Corporations use their lower tier workers because their workers let them. No one is indispensable working for a corp. Their vendors on the other hand are treasured. Find out what a corporation needs and provide it to them. Believe me - it does work! Use the system.

I am actually. I have 2 part time jobs and I work for myself as a third.

I own equipment and run small time local production out of my apartment. I'm only doing this though because my full time salary job closed down in February. Lived on savings for a few months before I got back on my feet. Not everyone is lucky enough to have 10 grand worth of production equipment to fall back on. I owned half of it and worked the other half into my severance package.

I have services companies want. They just don't want to pay me what I need to be paid to live a prosperous lifestyle. So I'm trying to make my own job.

Look it's hard. I was there. You do however have equity. Use it to your advantage. Never get discouraged. Get used to No, but be persistent. There'a a lot of assholes out there. You just need to find those who will trust and believe in you. You're off to a great start! Continue and you will be successful. Continue to focus on what you need to accomplish. It will happen. It will. God speed.
