David OccupyWallstreet Adams "Okay; I do this, I want it all! I'm not 'pity me' cry baby on the street! It's bring it ALL down or walk away!"
That's exactly the attitude we need! And that's the attitude most everyone has already! It's amazing when you think about it; dozens of videos are popping up of police brutality and unnecessary use of force against peaceful protesters, yet in all of those videos you see the cops with cameras too, and not one single video has surfaced anywhere of a protester using violence.
Hundreds have been arrested, then upon release immediately rejoin the demonstration. It's inspiring! They are all willing to put their "freedom" on the line to fight for an idea. Thousands of people, putting differences aside and working together in mass, self organizing... BIG crowd! Some might call it a mob, yet there wasn't a single violent incident among them save for those aggressed on them by the very police force sworn to uphold the freedoms they are fighting for. I know I'm ready to fight and even die for this cause if it comes to that; if ever there was a cause worth fighting for, this is it! That is the spark of a revolution!
We have to keep spreading the message and let the rest of the world know how much support they already have. Make them KNOW we are the 99%, and we have power! There are still so many people that don't know this is going on. Our collective voice is loud, and getting louder every day! We will occupy! We will be heard! That is the essence of this protest; to wake everyone up; to confirm what they have already been feeling for so long!
Suddenly we understand how our forefathers felt when they TRULY were fighting for their freedom! We are modern day patriots! I believe in this movement with all my heart! I have never been more proud to be an American!
curious... I didn't need the police videos to see the violence among the protesters, I saw it on the protesters own videos.
