What we should all do to represent solidarity as the 99% is stop buying. Let them check with sales to see if we mean business or not.
OWS is an opportunity for us all to stop buying what we don't absolutely need from all the same Corporations now running this country in the ground. From NOW stop buying, say, paper towels? We kick Bounty in the bottom line!!
If we really are "the 99% then we all hit 'em in the purse this HOLIDAY as well! ...We won't be the only ones feeling cold then.
Is this destructive? YES. Will this mean more out of work? May be, BUT, we're going down the drain with Corporate Americas driving now. WHY NOT PULL THE PLUG OURSELVES?

P.S. I'm reading "The Ecology of Commerce" by Paul Hawken (Harper Business copyright 1993). Its like magic that I found this book! He nails the issue completely down - and did so all the way back in 1993 WOW!! Everybody who hasn't read it should do so, but use your library!
Unless it is this type of civil disobedience is highly coordinated and simultaneous, the only person you will hurt is yourself and are family and friends who have to work for them.
We should stop buying electronics, food from big corps like McD's and Burger King, stop paying our bills, stop paying for gas, etc.
Good plan ... and then you can count how long it takes to impact you.... so that way you will know where you are in the economic food chain.
