they have. its called fema. they round us all up, kill most of us and ship the rest to concentration camps.

or did you mean a 99 percenters emergency management plan?

article 5 convention, a new political party, remove every last dem and republican from office and then bar rich people from holding public office.

im sorry i don't mean USA, i mean us , life, you know humans, all of US. i guess you would say US vs adversary , be it bird flu or bad weather you know kinda like a fema but not just for the us for the US. i guess , I believe im talking 100%. of humans. it would make one hell of a fun video game. I think IBM is working on a similar project now come to think of it.

any emergncy plan depends on the nature of the emergency. we have 20 different doomsday clocks ticking and i have solutions in each case. i suppose we could explore the details of that but i am not sure thats what you are talking about.

go to the moon , look back down. see that blue thing , them , thats us, how do we protect that from heck a flu outbreak ? yes all of them well , i mean after we get back as well.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

well, firstly, stop breeding better flus, stop using vaccinations, and get people situated with a lot of good hot tubs. Allow the human immune system to do its work instead of loading extra weight into the immunology circuit. Stop shocking the eco system. The best cure for flu is a fever. so sit in the hottest water you can for as long as you can, and do that a bunch of times every week or so and you should reliably kill off assorted viruses.

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

ok .... if that works , how can we supply those tools to everyone ? how do we manage that on a global scale ,or any other solution that would be applicable to that issue.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

hot water can be a hard game. even most bath tubs aren't good enough to really soak like a hot tub. in essence we need to make hot tubs the new appliance, and get that going and get people aware of the health benefits.

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

i think your idea is bat shit crazy. but if by some fluke of fate , you were right , we all must have hot tubes. how will you do it? assuming you had to build them as fast as possible how would you do it?

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

retrofit bathtubs with an extra water heater. i am hardly crazy. stop and think about it. all those vaccinations are just half dead viruses. they kill as many people as they help and they more importantly contribute to viral evolution because of course its the one in a million they don't manage to fully kill which then gives you the next worse kind of flu. raising your core temperature 3 degrees knocks out something like 85 percent of the viruses in your system if you keep that core temp up that high for even as long a 5 or 10 minutes.

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

ok so extra hot water heaters. great. well , lets write a scenerio for this situation.you need to make as many hot water heaters as fast as possible. how do you do it at a global level. assume. each day costs everyone someone they love.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 13 years ago

well you make do probably with regular old stoves and heat the water on a stove. everyone has what it would take assuming one other person to keep cooking and tending the stove. then we manufacture the new stuff prolly in under a month or so... we don't lose too many people that way so long as they do the bathing..

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

assume then that your water heater is missing a piece. one that needs to be made from scratch ? normal water heated up wont work. how would you make it faster. the fastest way possible. i mean , someone you love will die each day unless the task is completed on a global level.im saying lets work on that plan. it will be a starting point for everyone to agree on something.

How to manage and stockpile resources to defend against outside threats ?

[-] 1 points by genanmer (822) 13 years ago

Become self sustainable, expand that to help your local community become self sustainable, expand on that to help neighboring communities become self sustainable and so on.

Unless you collaborate with those around you, your defenses are not likely to hold.

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

ok , so your working from an arms length around you. what if you need an arm much longer to make any plan work? think global.can we write plans to structure resources on a global level if needed?

[-] 1 points by genanmer (822) 13 years ago

Yes.

But going from a local level to a global level will require collaboration on a massive scale.

so why not burn the candle from both ends ? that way local ( you) issues can be resolved just as fast as world (99+1) issues since we have a plan.

[-] 1 points by genanmer (822) 13 years ago

Many love money and fear people too much to just replace the current system.

No one willingly breaks their addiction (e.g. to money/acquiring stuff) unless they believe there's a better way to live.

And proving such a system can work is difficult.

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

to bad we cant put a group of people on an island and say , this is you only resource , we will be back in 200 years , don't fuck up.

[-] 1 points by genanmer (822) 13 years ago

ironically we send people into space with the same general idea

[-] 1 points by jamesvapor (221) 13 years ago

so .... when a group works to a goal it's capable of putting a man on the moon! ok what if we had a bigger group. what could we do then ?
