Would you go to a dentist for heart surgery? No? Then WHY are you looking to orators (public speakers) to fix your economy, education, and foreign policy? That's what economists, educators, and diplomats are for. THINK ABOUT IT. If investors can predict market trends, then they could also foresee problems and move to prevent them. We are voting people into office to handle our nation's money, military, and foreign policy, when most of them only have a degree in "political science". THAT'S RIGHT, they're corrupt liars, and they're professional ones at that. They're educated in how to speak, NOT how to budget, NOT how to educate, NOT how to run a military, or any other aspect of our nation. So if you wan to fix things, put someone in office who knows what they're doing.
Yeah! What if we would go to a dentist for heart surgery? It beats going to McDonalds for heart surgery! What do you have to say then?!
If you'd take your dentist over a cardiologist... Well, at least he has laughing gas, right?
And who might that be?
Have people who understand what they are doing work to fix the problems? But that only makes sense!! Why would we do that? (sarcasm)
It's called Technocracy, folks, and it was wonderfully popular during the Great Depression. I figure that the same common sense solution would work for the Great Recession.
