There must be concrete goals as well as concrete plans on how to achieve goals.
One small example of trying to form unified voice/action - I sent the following off to "Physicians for Social Responsibility" and to some others as well:
I seriously think - that you (PSR) - should be looking into Thorium Reactors for electric power generation.
I think you should do this in a combined effort with all social, environmental, health, and political action groups.
WHY ???
Please review information available on the internet - as to how this unused technology is safe and inexpensive (10,000.00 a year to fuel as compared to 50 or 60,000,000.00) - can not by claim ever meltdown in a run away process such as Fukushima or Chernobyl - can not be used to make nuclear weapons - does not make as an end process of expended fuel a growing pile of radioactive waste that must be safe guarded for countless millennia.
This technology could be implemented all across the country and cost effectively eliminate toxic fossil fuel pollution tech power plants - and end toxic fossil fuel mining and use.
YOU REALLY NEED TO LOOK INTO THIS AS A MAJOR HEALTH BENEFIT/OPPORTUNITY
Combine Thorium Power plants ( please watch The Thorium Problem http://www.democraticunderground.com/1017146059 ) with The Liquid Metal Battery (for actual power storage in the power grid for use on demand as needed http://www.ted.com/speakers/donald_sadoway.html) - and there is a huge benefit to public health and safety.
Cheap technology with plentiful resources world wide for ALL to be able to use without resource strife/conflicts.
This combined technology could very well remove many stresses of current scarcity in this world that feed endless violence (regional violence as well as international violence).
Using this technology Iran would never have been a threat as a new nuclear weapons maker.

Something unprecedented is going to happen tomorrow night. Will you be able to say that you were a part of it?
Tomorrow night—Wednesday, July 29—in 3,146 homes, town squares, coffee shops and union halls, more than 82,000 people who support Bernie's campaign will participate in our first organizing meeting. You will see Bernie via live video, make new friends and help build the movement that’s taking our country back from the billionaire class.
Will you be a part of it?
Yes, I want to find an organizing meeting near me! or I can’t make it, but I’ll contribute $3 to support these organizing meetings.
We’ve got the people on our side—not the billionaires. Your small donations pay for the basic infrastructure that allows this movement to grow and grow and grow.
Here’s what history looks like. Each dot on this map is an organizing meeting happening Wednesday night:
Map of July 29 Meetings
No other presidential campaign has had this many grassroots events this early on in the race—not even President Obama. That's what I mean when I say tomorrow night will be historic.
At tomorrow night's organizing meetings, supporters in your community will meet each other and share their stories about why they support Bernie. Then there will be a live video of Bernie speaking about what our next steps will be to build our campaign in your neighborhood.
It's going to be a big night, Dan, and I hope you won't miss it. Will you join us?
Yes, I want to RSVP for an organizing meeting. or I can’t make it, but I’ll contribute $3 to support these organizing meetings.
Thank you for all you do.

Everyone wants the bomb dude. The world is ran by gangsters, so ya gotta be strapped.
Alternative energies or not, world leaders want the bomb. Its the MAD negotiating tool of the century lol.
Not everyone wants the bomb. Both South Africa and Ukraine had nuclear bombs removed but Ukraine must be regretting not having the antidote for Pootinium (not just due to Chernobyl). Other sane countries got rid of their Highly Enriched Uranium, too. Their examples make one wonder about Iran's intentions.
Is Iran truly so civilized that they would install tens of thousands of centrifuges to make medical radioisotopes to treat cancers? If so, kudos to Iran but I somehow feel that it seems a bit far-fetched (with their human rights record such as "We have no gay people in Iran - we execute them!"). Cancer patients can also be sent out of Iran for treatments at lower costs than building the nuclear facilities.
