Reform. It's political mantra. The status quo is always a safe bet. The professional radical thinkers are stirring the pot, but it's the same stew until it's gone. If there's no model goverment to imitate, then there's got to be a vision created for those of us who do not "get it". The call to remove money from Bank of America was a good call, and it yeilded results. Results. I think we need more results. Sam Walton was once a small business owner. It's not just big corporataions, it's the love of money, (and the glory of being a winner), more than your fellow humans. The idea that wages should be kept at a minumum to maximize profit is not healthy, but it is understood and practiced by large and small companies. How many companies can stand to see a dime wasted on their employees that could have gone to the pile of the owners. We are all replacable, even as consumers. Volunteers care. The only reform that will help is one that will use the human ability to care.
