Until the Occupy movement starts advocating for real, substantive policy changes (like the Constitutional Amendment overturning Citizens United) or supports candidates for office, I am done.
Occupy squandered a golden opportunity to affect change and I'm saddened and disgusted by that. Is there a place out there for those of us who believe in the principles of Occupy and really want to get something accomplished? If so, please share.
Please consider reading the following articles :

I recommend these two articles to help you understand why OWS does not work within the current political structure:

Number 1, is why it won't and number 2 is why it might.
The problem is that "policy changes" will leave us in exactly the same boat, which is up a creek without a paddle.
Occupy cannot effect change; only the working class, the vast majority of Americans, can possibly hope to force change. Occupy's mission, simply stated, is to bring the problems of our society to light and demonstrate a reasonable way to solve them.
See ya! Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!
I just deleted the email I got. Bunch of wackos.
You need to go and start your own thing.
So should we all. Then the movement might morph and grow.
