Will violence be the end result of these protest?
i think that depends on the behavior of the system. either they stand behind the words used to assist other counties with uprisings or they get the same effect. at least that how humanity has always dealt with it. 60s revival http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkUoI0n4NmI
When it gets too cold, they will disappear. They just sit in the park with their signs all day believing the government crooks taking their bribes will change into sweet angels. They are completely uninformed. They refuse to discuss any strategy. They are very docile. They are complete stooges who are self destructive.
The fight can only be political but they don't understand politics. Politics means campaigning like the Tea Party nominated and elected candidates.
Campaigning is hard work. These people want to just sit in the park with their signs. They have no fight in them. They know it all and believe that a few more thousand protesters means they win.
They've caused a stir. For example, in my case, I've diverted all of the several thousand dollars a year I donate to politicians to go to their cause instead.
I also normally send a few faxes a month to politicians and I've upped that to several a day.
I also never try to convince my friends and relatives of my political beliefs but I've been doing it constantly since OWS started.
I've been doing pretty much nothing but politics non-stop since they started (in my spare time, that is).
So they're having an impact.
Their impact will be wonderful if we form a 3rd party and nominate candidates that will attack the bribes. The entire congress and Obama is taking bribes to selll us out and they will never stop until we vote them out by replacing them. Every day is wasted when there is no campaign. Sitting in a park any longer will do nothing.
I disagree. People are educating themselves because of the "Occupiers". Education is the most important thing.
I've been educating myself for 4 decades. Do all you people just watch the Kardashians? I'm in my own private world of disbelief.

No, you demonstrated your ignorance. It wasn't based ona stereotype at all. Besides, my observation about you is the result of an observation of a particlar behavior pattern. It's like saying that I've found that criminals are usually law breakers.
The days of Nelson Rockefeller ordering the execution of Correction Officers to protect his political career and preserve a possible run for the Presidency are gone.
