I sure hope so, but it's hard to believe it will. There's too much corruption, too much money to be made.

Many movements have made a difference over the centuries. Sadly, however, many have not. It will depend on how this movement is handled, whether or not it makes a difference now. Good advice would be to look at the ones that have been successful, and to learn by their example.
It already has. It is widely acknowledged, even by a media essentially hostile or at least indifferent to OWS that OWS has changed the content of political discourse in the nation and put the issues of unemployment, personal debt and foreclosures on the agenda.
