Hey! Don’t get me wrong. I do like to blog. I especially like to blog when I can stir something up and persuade people to focus.
I might have stirred the pot up good a couple of days ago when I posted an article entitled, “Occupy People Nowhere Near Nazis.” In that article I had complained about how many on the Right and the Far Right had been a little free in recent times about throwing the “Nazi” tag at the Occupy Wall Street Protesters.
It seems to be a very popular thing among Conservatives–especially those on the kook fringe–to apply “Commie, Nazi, Homosexual” and a lot of other filthy descriptions to people on the Left or those in movements like OWS. (Occupy Wall Street)
So I wrote the article to refute some of that and kind of blow some of this horse-manure-ridden smoke back into the faces of the hate mongers on the Far Right Extremes. The article brought out all kinds of folks in response. I got reasonable people and I got the kooks as expected.
This one dear naive soul asked me if I had ever been to a Tea party Rally.
Since I had watched the coverage of “Tea Party Rallies” and observed all their racist hate signs and their signs calling for armed insurrection against the government of The United States and their invasion of public spaces (Just like the OWS), I decided I was better than to participate in such mob scenes, so the answer is “No! I have never been to a Tea party Rally!”
In my opinion the so-called “Tea party” is much too fragmented and disorganized to ever have much of an effect for positive change. That was borne out to me when I noted that their little newly-elected “Darlings” in 2010 were more than willing to tank the U.S. Economy and cause a disaster of unknown and probably untold proportions just so they could prove their point.
No, I want nothing to do with what I consider to be obstructionist, destructionist Rabble-Rouser mentality because, in my book… regardless of the props, the flags, the drums and the noise, there is nothing “American” about it.
What I have seen are more or less angry mobs. I see a lot of what I consider to be “Herd Instinct’ at work in many Tea party gatherings. I see a lot of people “Following” some undefined objective but I haven’t been able to discern any visible leadership in these groups. As far as I can tell, there is no formal organization, no written agenda, no certification as a political party—Zilch!
The Tea Party likes to tell Congress such things as “Stop spending money we don’t have!”
You know what, folks?
I didn’t see anyone telling the Bush Administration to “Stop Spending Money We Don’t have,” did you? Where does this obtuse argument come from? I guess when the Right Wingers spend too much money, it is somehow alright. But when the Liberals spend money, it is a sin. That kind of reasoning doesn’t make any sense to me...

Agreed, they all have to go. Career politicians who cater to corporate greed were not envisioned by our forefathers or considered within the Constitution.
The People need to re-visit the Constitution and adjust it accordingly...
"I freely admit the right of a nation to change its political principles and constitution at will." Thomas Jefferson
Jefferson agreed that The People can change the Constitution "at will", it was never intended to be written in stone...
This is bigger that artisan politics, both sides have fucked up.
As we see, the Republican Parties only interest is a one-term Obama. They are not interested or concerned with what is good for the nation but only what is good for The Party.
Where are the patriots?
