Wikipedia did it for a new information system; Wikileaks did it for a new media system. OWS is doing it for a new world by voluteer action.

"We may never be able to prove, through logic, that direct democracy, freedom and a society based on principles of human solidarity are possible. We can only demonstrate it through action. In parks and squares across America, people have begun to witness it as they have started to participate. Americans grow up being taught that freedom and democracy are our ultimate values, and that our love of freedom and democracy is what defines us as a people—even as, in subtle but constant ways, we’re taught that genuine freedom and democracy can never truly exist."

Wikipedia says what people are motivated to make it say. It's good for science, bad for controversy.

Wikipedia says what people are making history again.

A few hundred people in a city of 8 million wiggling their fingers is not democracy. It is not direct democracy. It is nothing more than a few hundred people wiggling their fingers.

The extremely tiny fraction of people wiggling their fingers speak for no one but themselves.

If you want to make a difference, you need to create a coherent movement and run candidates for political office.

Otherwise you are little more than children playing games.

The movement need a computer software system like Wikipedia and Wikileaks did to replace the wiggling system. Julian Assange stoped leak and may start to make a new software for the movement. > )
