Why Occupy Wall Street?

Revolution – whether it be of a 1776, 1789, or 2011 vintage – is always characterized as a revolt against arbitrary power. Never before have corporate interests, or any interest, been able to control the political system, economy, diet, and education of a nation.

Why do we revolt?

We revolt because we are alienated from the product of our own labor, our government, our diet, our natural world.

What do we wish?

Idealism and realism dictate that the only solution to our problem is taking money, either personal or corporate, out of the political system. We demand publically financed elections. Redress will follow.
