They say as humans we learn from our mistakes, well no we don't. I'm 53 years old so I have a little experience under my belt. I remember the protests from the 60's they protested the war, they protested drugs and they had NO LEADER it was 50000 individual people with 50000 different ideas who answered to no one but there self, well the cops arrested them and drugs are still illegal and the war went on the only thing they did win was the right to love your fellow man so they won what they already had to begin with...Now lets move on the African Americans protested equal right for all people so they got a leader (Remember M.L.K.) well he died for what he believed in but the African Americans won there protest it's against the law to discriminate now. Where would the Libyan rebels be now if they did not have a leader they would probably have killed each other cause they wouldn't know who the bad guy was. The government, cops or anybody else are going to take this seriously unless a leader stands up with his followers. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but one thing I have over most people I learn from them and don't intend to make them again. From what I have seen most of the people protesting are college age kids you're young and you're green you could learn a lot from talking to some older people all I'm asking is lets not repeat history but that's exactly where were headed. We have the power but we just don't know how to use it. Note at the beginning I used 50000 that's just a figure of speech it could have been 5 million but that's neither here or there. What I'm saying is the protests happened they got arrested the girls got sent home to go out and protest again and the boys got sent to the draft board where they went over and fought and some came home and some did not, so all were doing is repeating history. I don't really expect anybody to pay any attention to me after all I'm just a dumb old factory worker from Hicksville USA so what do I know. WE ARE THE LEADERLESS 99%

well dumb factory worker, you're a hell of a step a head of the masses. you caught my attention though i already had the same sentiments as you. so rest assured there is at least one "young whippersnapper" that understands and agrees with your point completely.

p.s. that was not meant to be sarcasm

That's ok that's just what I am. I'm called the dime a dozen worker, no skills, no degree, just a sheep

If you are trying to say we need a leader, I think you're wrong. We did have leaders back in the 1960s. They became the targets of COINTELPRO. The FBI smeared them, ruined their lives, and in some cases, killed them. Leaders are a liability. We don't need leaders, we need large numbers. This is not a movement to "get them to listen." This is a movement to take over and turn this into a democracy.

Well it's not going to happen without a leader and his followers thats just human nature. Without a leader the government is just going to see us as the protesters in the 60's just a bunch of hippies causing trouble just arrest them and when they come back arrest them again till they give up.

You need knowledge.
