Why the Hell ... can't we eradicate poverty in the World ....

Why the Hell ... can't we house our homeless vets .... who risked lives & limbs ... so you Americans ... can sit on your couch & watch BS on tv ....

Why the Hell ... do we even have any homeless vets ....

Why the Hell ... do we want to steal Social Security from those who ALREADY paid into it ...

It's disgusting !!! Fear & Greed !!!

It appears that 90%+ of the right ... and 50%+ of the Left ... are supporting this cowardness !!

We vote with our actions as individuals every day.

If the government got out of all the aspects of our lives and society that they are currently in, would we as people rally together to do what is needed to take care of our own communities?

Or has this government system spiraled so far out of control that being part of a community is no longer something anyone thinks about?

I was just thinking about that Republican woman who responded to Obama's State of the Union speech and I was thinking, why does she think it's so great and acceptable that she only had one pair of shoes as a kid and that it was okay to put bags over them? Holy crap! In the richest country on earth they are trying to convince us that poverty is okay! And that if you work really hard you'll get out of it! even though all the wealth is hoarded at the top! and there are no opportunities for decent paying jobs! Liars!

It's all a load of crap. Came across your thread and found it apropos to what I was just thinking about. Why the hell?!

Wow BW, I don't know how you made it through the entire SOTU crap. I' ve never seen more laughing traitors all in one room. I made it up to when Obama was saying how great the TPP trade deal will be for America (you know the trade deal that must be kept secret. Otherwise the people would get their pitch forks and torches out. That trade deal. The one that corporations are writing in secret to circumvent sovereign law and the interests of the people. If it's SO GREAT, why the big secret?)

I know, the whole thing was a load of crap. Agreed. I have no idea how I made it to the end and to that woman with the Republican hair and make up, lol, I don't even know her name and won't bother to look it up. What has America come to? A bunch of secrets and lies that rape and pillage the 99%, like TPP is set to do!

What the hell? Why the hell? Free us from this misery!

The RepubliCONS love pushing the Horatio Alger myth. They want to give the 99% a gilt trip. If you're not in the 1%, they tell you are not working hard enough yet. Carrot on a string for the wage/debt slave 99%. little worker bee, keep bust'n ass for the corporate and bankster elite.

Have you ever seen this gov Scott Walker character? I've never seen anyone so glassy eyed. Everytime I see this guy, It looks like he was doing bong hits all night. He always looks totally stoned off his ass. It's amazing these clowns get people to vote for them.

Very well said. The guilt trips are all to keep the 99% down in their place of shame. But, none of it is the 99%'s fault. It is the fault of an economic system that is rigged against them. The big message we need to get out there to the people is:

"It is not your fault. And, you have the power, in numbers, to change it!"

And, the Republicans should get an award for finding the most lunatics to place in office.

What makes me think of bubbas in jacked-up oversized pickup trucks flying down the highway getting five miles to the gallon on gas?

The behavior of Americans can be very depressing....And, waking them up to how poorly they've been educated and how well they've been brainwashed is no easy job!
