Why support Occupy Wall Street?

  • Access to affordable education for all people
  • Access to basic necessities of life and the pursuit of happiness to all people
  • Spend less on those who can most afford to live and leaping ahead, and more on those who can least afford to live and falling behind.

TR - Elected at 42 years

BO - Elected at 47 years

TR - First American president to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his international diplomacy on settling the Russo-Japanese War.

BO - Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his potential to influence raging war, and oust or kill "leaders" of sovereign countries.

TR - Was the visionary behind statutes enacted to limit the influence of wealthy individuals and special interest groups on the outcome of federal elections.

BO - After the Supreme Court sanctioned unlimited corporate spending on elections, raised about $779 million for the 2008 elections, and spent more than the amount raised.

TR - Initiated/designated/established over 150 National Forests, 51 Bird Preservations, 18 National Monuments, 21 Federal irrigation projects, and 5 National Parks - to benefit all people of the world

BO - Re-established financial monuments - Citigroup, Bank of America. American International Group (AIG), JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, GMAC Financial Services (Ally), General Motors, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, PNC Financial Services Group, U.S. Bancorp, Chrysler, Capital One Financial, Regions Financial Corporation, American Express, Bank of New York Mellon Corp, State Street Corporation, Discover Financial (more listed here Http://www.nytimes.com/packages/html/national/200904_CREDITCRISIS/recipients.html) - To benefit what was his circle of recent friends, big contributors, and those who are most able to help themselves.

So a successful Occupy Wall Street does have merit, and will hopefully lead to a reversal of gifting scarce resources by politicians and cogs to their Plutocratic Puppet Masters.

All the more reason why the movement should be an Occupy The White House movement, and not occupy Wall Street. .............. ................ http://www.savethe99.com/default.htm
