Because Michael Bay and LeBron James didn't crash the economy.

Because rich celebrities and athletes, while making plenty of money, do not busy themselves with creating a system to funnel all wealth to themselves. That is, rich people in and of themselves are not a problem. An oligarchy, however, is.

This salient point has been made in some form or another before, and just the same, it will be ignored. Legitimate statement.

A movie or rock star can make $30 million a year. The movie star can work for 3 months. That is $10 million a month is salary. But those movie stars are mostly liberal. YOU love them. YOU stand in the grocery store line and read ALL about them in People magazine. You worry that some star had the same $30,000 dress on that the other one had,,, OH MY!!!! The stars live in mansions, fly in jets, drink fine wine at 40,000 feet and wave their rich hands at you as they fly over your POOR ass. You only hate rich republicans. That is the point.

Occupy MLB or football or basketball of the hollywood studios.

Do you seriously think people should occupy sports stadiums or are you just pointing out the hypocrisy of the whole thing?

And I don't know where you got that $200 million stat from. I know you say Forbes but you must be misinterpreting the data. No athlete makes that much money in a given year.

I made a mistake, it's 100 mi on average. its from forbes magazine. why not stadiums? why not hollwood studios ?

It is still no where near $100 million average salary. Alex Rodriguez is the highest paid baseball player and he makes about $30M.

Any why occupy stadiums? What did athletes do wrong? If someone offered you millions of dollars to do something you are good at, wouldn't you take it?

What did the workers on wall street do wrong? "if someone offered you you a million dollars to do something you're good at, wouldn't you take it". If that's the premise, what's wrong with wall street ceos getting paid that much and more?

There is nothing wrong with it, as long as no laws are being broken. Who would turn down that kind of money?
